As a Secondary two student, Tsang has been studying three Kumon subjects, Math, English and Chinese, since she was a child. She has accumulated solid skills through advanced study which has helped her adapt to secondary school. “I had already learnt algebra when I studied Kumon Maths in Primary 3 or 4, so I didn’t find it too difficult to cope with Mathematics in secondary school; similarly, Kumon Chinese has a wide range of exercises which helped me build up good comprehension skills from a young age, so I could grasp the central ideas more easily when coping with the reading comprehension exercises in secondary school.” Hard work pays off. We believe that Tsang will continue to surpass herself and become even more excellent!
Good foundation shortens time for revision.
Having studied Kumon for almost 10 years, Tsang has completed the English programme and is still studying Mathematics and Chinese. “My English used to be poor, but now I have improved a lot and I find it easier to tackle my school work. I also find that it takes less time for me to do the revision, and I do not need to practice extra exercises for revision.” Continuous learning has also helped Tsang to develop a self-learning attitude, which has helped her to adapt to the change in the learning pattern after promoting to secondary school. Continuous study with Kumon allows us to nurture children to grow even better.
