At present, the Company only provides the opportunity to the students who have enrolled in authorized Kumon education centres from 7 regions of China (Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Foshan, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Macau) to learn Kumon Method. Information of our authorized Kumon education centres can be found in the official website of the Company (http://www.kumon.com.cn/).
NO external organization or individual has been authorized by the Company to operate any Kumon education centre other than the centres listed in the official website of the Company. Any unauthorized education centres shall not recognize by the Company. Counterfeit the name of the Company, its subsidiary companies or any Kumon education centre for business operation, promotion, or unauthorized use of any relevant Kumon trade mark are serious violation of the law in PRC. Hong Kong SAR and Macau SAR and violate the legitimate rights and interests of the Company and its subsidiary companies.
Furthermore, the Company had been notified by parents that there are some online advertisements of selling Kumon worksheets. The Company hereby reaffirms that, Kumon worksheets will only distribute to enrolled students through authorized Kumon education centres directly, Kumon China Company Limited declared that NO official Kumon worksheet of any Kumon program or level will be advertised or sold by any entities or any online platforms. Any organization or individual (except the Company or its subsidiary companies) who purport to sell Kumon worksheets are counterfeit the name of the Company or its subsidiary companies, materials involved are either infringing copies of Kumon worksheets or irrelevant materials with the Kumon Method. Parents should be aware of such advertisement and related defective materials, in order to avoid students who are using these defective materials being seriously misled.
Any infringement towards Kumon China Company Limited and its subsidiary companies will not be tolerated. In respond to any infringement, Kumon China Company Limited will take legal actions against the related parties in accordance with the law. If parents encounter any difficulty in recognizing authorized Kumon education centres, please approach to the Company or its subsidiary companies for more information (Please refer to the above website for contact information).
In the event that you suspect or become aware of anyone using Kumon materials in any unauthorized manner, including infringing Kumon’s copyright, you can notify us with information at: Kumon China Company Limited, Legal Department. All such communications can be made anonymously, but are in confidential and the source (if not anonymous) will not be disclosed without your prior permission.
