Kumon “A Different Summer Vacation” Colouring Competition

Kumon “A Different Summer Vacation” Colouring Competition (the “Competition”) is organized by Kumon Hong Kong Co. Ltd. (“Kumon”).

By participating in the Program, entrants are deemed to agree to the Terms and Conditions stated herein. We reserve the right to revise the Terms and Conditions in time without prior notice.

Terms and Conditions

1. Competition Period

From 19 June 2024 to 31 July 2024.

2. Categories

The Competition will be divided into three categories: Kindergarten (K1 to K3), Primary (P1 to P3) and Primary (P4 – P6).

3. Eligibility

Entrant must be current enrolled students of any kindergarten or primary school in Hong Kong.
Entrant may refer to his/her school grade in the school year 2023/24 to join and participate in related categories in the Competition.

4. Entry Format and Related Rules

Download the colouring sheet from the website and print-out the colouring sheet in A4 size format.
There is no restriction on colouring and drawing tools. However, computer-aided work is not allowed.
The entry should be created by the entrant and should not have been published online or in any printed formats beforehand.
For the kindergarten category, we recommend that the work is done with parents, although children can complete it on their own if they like. Primary categories (both P1-P3 and P4-P6) should complete the work by themselves.
An entry should not contain any material that is obscene, violent, pornographic, defamatory, indecent, disparaging or content that is controversial and inappropriate.

5. Participate in the Competition

Entrant may complete the colouring sheet, upload and submit the photo of the entry to the designated website to participate in the Competition.

Each entrant may only submit one entry. Additional entries will be disqualified.
Any entries uploaded after the Competition Period will not be counted.
Entrant should keep the original colouring sheet until the end of the Competition.

6. Assessment Criteria

The adjudication panel will assess each entry based on following criteria: Colouring skills and Overall aesthetics.
The adjudication panel reserves the right to make final decision about the assessment of the entries.

7. Prizes

Each category will include below Prizes:

Champion: Crystal Trophy, Certificate, Disney Annual Pass (Gold) x 2*, HK$300 Book Voucher
1st Runner-up: Certificate, Disney 1-Day Ticket x 2*, HK$300 Book Voucher
2nd Runner-up: Certificate, HK$300 Book Voucher
10 Merit Awards: HK$100 Book Voucher

*Disney Annual Pass (Gold): 1 x Aduit Annual Pass (Gold), 1 x Child Annual Pass (Gold)
*Disney 1-Day Ticket: 1 x Aduit 1-Day Ticket, 1 x Child 1-Day Ticket (Valid for 3 months from August 2024)

The Competition also set-up a “School Participation Award” for the school with the highest submissions of entries. The award will be divided into Kindergarten and Primary School two categories (One winner in each category). The prize of the “School Participation Award” is a Trophy.

8. Result Announcement

Result of the Competition will be announced on Kumon official website and Facebook page on August 23, 2024.

9. Prize Redemption

Winners of Champion, 1st Runner-up and 2nd Runner-up of all categories must bring the original colouring sheet to Kumon office in person to receive the
All Merit Awards will be sent by ordinary mail to the correspondence address provided by the Participant.
If entrant cannot receive winning notification or redemption details or cannot redeem the prize due to any fake, incomplete or incorrect information provided, Kumon shall bear no responsibility.
If the winner of Champion, 1st Runner-up and 2nd Runner-up of all categories are unable to provide the original colouring sheet and/or cannot be contacted, confirmed the arrangement for the redemption of the prize by 30 September 2024 will forfeit the prize.
All winners shall understand and accept that Kumon has no legal or other liabilities if any winners are unable to enjoy any prizes for whatever reasons or if any winners suffer from any personal injuries or properly losses or damages in the course of his or her enjoyment of any prizes for whatever reasons.

10. Certificate of Participation

If any entrants wish to apply an electronic “Certificate of Participation”, please tick the box and fill-in email address in the application form of the Competition.
If any entrants wish to apply a printed Certificate of Participation, please tick the box and fill-in your correspondence address in the application form of the Competition. We will send you a printed “Certificate of Participation” by SF Express courier service, any incurred courier charges will be responsible by the entrant.

11. Others

By entering the Competition, each entrant shall grants Kumon and its authorized persons a perpetual, non-exclusive and irrevocable licence to use, reproduce, edit, display, modify, publish and otherwise make use of the submitted entry for any of its publications, webpages and/or in any promotional material connected to the Competition without making Kumon liable for compensation of any kind or any other liability, and without any notice to the participant.
Submissions shall be deemed as granting consent to unconditional transfer of all copyright to Kumon, Kumon has the right to amend, use and copy the entry, and to show the entrant’s information (name, school and age) without obtaining prior consent from the entrant.
Kumon reserves the right to change these terms and conditions, prizes, and arrangements without prior notice.
The decisions of the organizer on the results of the competitions shall be final.
In case of any discrepancy between English and Chinese version of this Terms and Conditions, Chinese version shall prevail.
